Wow, great news! I will try this extension as soon as possible.

Kaltura, Inc.  (www.kaltura.com), developer of the first open source online video platform, announced today that it has released a Kaltura based video extension for Joomla! Joomla is an award-winning open source content management system with over 10 million downloads.  The Kaltura extension, which can be downloaded at http://corp.kaltura.com/download, allows Joomla site-builders to handle every aspect of video and rich-media, including content management, syndication, monetization, transcoding, uploading, importing, editing and remixing.  The extension is simple to install, customize, and use.

"The Kaltura open source stack empowers developers to augment any web platform and content management system to include tightly integrated video functionalities and work flows", said Ron Yekutiel, Kaltura Chairman and CEO.  "Close to 50,000 websites have already adopted one of the dozens of Kaltura-based applications and extensions, many of which were created by Kaltura's global developer community.  In fact, our Joomla extension has already been translated into French and integrated with the Joomla CC-Flexicontent extension by one of our community members.  We are thrilled to now offer a solution for the rapidly growing Joomla community and user base as well."
